In conjunction with IT development, almost all activities in SEAMEO-TROPMED RCCN are computerized. Therefore, the staffs as well as the students have been well equipped with personal computer with no limited time of usage. The Computer Unit periodically develops and up-grades the software and hardware of all computers according to the needs of each user.

Since the year 2002, all computers in SEAMEO are connected with LAN (Local Area Network) system. The aim of this installation is to enhance the working performance of each user, including internet access and data sharing.

The computer facilities for the students are placed in the computer room. Starting from the year 2003 some short training related to the computer usage are conducted in the computer room with facilities as follow:
•  Computer sets completed with printers
•  LAN system (enable internet access and data sharing)
•  Up-graded software
•  LCD
•  Scanner
