Background
The Fifth South East Asian Nutrition Leadership Program (SEA-NLP) is held to facilitate the development of leaders in the field of human nutrition in South Asia region. In the rapidly changing society, it is imperative to build strong leadership skills for nutritionists in South East Asia region working in government institutions, academia, food industries and others. Leadership skills will enable nutritionists to build vision, recognize the need and make direction of change in the field of human nutrition and empower people to achieve.
The SEA-NLP leans towards and under auspicious of the European Nutrition Leadership Programme (ENLP). The (SEA-NLP) has trained 103 alumni from 9 countries in South East Asia working at universities, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Public Health, Research Institutes, UN body and others.
Objectives
The main objective of the SEA-NLP is to empower nutritionist with post graduate level working in government bodies, research institutes, academia and other institutions having nutrition program by providing competencies in effective leadership including team building and communication skills. The SEA-NLP is also aimed to provide forum for networking for nutritionists in the region.
Who Should Attend
Candidates having the following criteria are eligible to apply:
Hold Master degree in human nutrition with at least 2-years experiences.
Hold Master degree in other field with at least 5-years experiences in human nutrition-related field.
PhD holders and PhD students in human nutrition or human nutrition-related field.
Not more than 40 years of age.
Proficiency in English is essential.
